From the buzz around the movie "Wicked" to the mesmerizing world of "Arcane," we've got tales, technical faux pas, and a twist on our usual game segment that you won’t want to miss. Plus, we throw a spotlight on the heated Kendrick Lamar moment in hip-hop, exploring the diss-track dynamics and what it could mean for the music industry.

Ever wondered why DreamWorks is jumping into live-action? With a teaser for "How to Train Your Dragon" making waves, we probe the motivations behind transforming iconic animations into real-life spectacles. Is it a ploy for theme park dominance or just creative bankruptcy? We're skeptical, and we think you might be too. Our conversation uncovers the quirks and potential pitfalls of this trend, questioning whether the magic of animation can truly be captured in live-action form.

Shifting gears, we get into the gritty details of the legal drama between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. Ever thought about what happens when music moguls mix diss tracks with lawsuits? We dissect Drake's claims and the possible fallout for both artists. And, for gaming aficionados, we share thoughts on Halo’s cross-platform dreams, the curious return of OG Fortnite, and the cultural resonance of a potential Black Panther 3 starring Denzel Washington. Welcome to your go-to source for entertainment. Wait for it Gaming. Wait for it Anime PLUS.

Speaker 2:

ULTRA.

Speaker 1:

Mr Eric Almighty and Phil the Filipino yeah, they've got you covered, and all you gotta do is wait for it. This is the Wait For it Podcast.

Speaker 3:

Hey everyone, welcome back to the Wait For it Podcast. I am your co-host, phil Barrera, aka Phil the Filipino, and joining me, as always, is your other co-host, mr Eric Almighty. And Eric, we are here with the November edition of what Did I Miss. It is kind of strange because we didn't have a normal episode this week, but we are still doing this series as we have circled back around to our OG crew back when this started in 2023.

Speaker 3:

Actually, a year ago, a year ago, in November, we brought back what Did I Miss in this new format and we made it all the way up until October before having issues with guests. But that's okay because we will not have that issue for November and December. But super excited to talk about this month. It does feel like I'm interested to see like if you came across like a solid amount of stories. Like I'm interested to see like if you came across like a solid amount of stories. It seems like there's not really a whole lot going on in November, except for one really upset hip hop star that I think will take up a majority of this episode.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, no, I mean listen. The summary for this month, honestly, if you didn't want to listen to the whole episode is Wicked, arcane and Kendrick Lamar. That's essentially what happened, but there are some things in between all of that that I think we will be digging up and discussing, and I'm looking forward to that. I do think there are a couple of things that we'll be able to bring up and make the episode worth it, but we also got a fun twist on the game we normally play for this episode, so I think that's going to be probably the highlight.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we ran a test run in last month's episode of what Did I Miss, and then we also played this at Nakamakon a couple weeks ago, which was a whole lot of fun. So that was. That went very well and I think it's going to go well here this evening with our two guests. So let's go ahead and introduce them in. You guys know them. Repeat guests. Repeat uh, um. Contributors to the podcast. Let's throw it over to philin first. It's been a little bit longer since you have been on jordan. Of course, uh, joins me, um, on our twitch stream every other week. But, philin, welcome back. Thank you so much for giving us your time here this evening. How are you, as we are on the cusp of Turkey Day?

Speaker 2:

I am doing well, I am. It is Tuesday and the movie Wicked has been out since Thursday and I have now seen it three times and tomorrow it will be my fourth.

Speaker 3:

Your fourth and my first Me and Liz's first, which is crazy. But yeah, I literally got to the point where I was like I got to go see this movie. I can't make it through 2024 without watching it. So, finally, it was so difficult to find a ticket to this thing. I had to select the very first option that I could find, which is tomorrow night. So we're going to check it out tomorrow, very excited to finally see it. I've never seen the stage play, which is why I was hesitant to go see the movie, but everybody that loves the stage play has been giving this rave reviews and I'm like, okay, gotta, I gotta go. So, uh, jordan, welcome in. How many times have you seen wicked? As of november 26, 2024?

Speaker 1:

I have not seen wicked yet, but I am gonna see it. I did want to see it sometime this week while I'm here in jacksonville but surprisingly and veryingly, my boyfriend, who doesn't like musicals, wants to see it. So we're gonna go see it next week.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, as Jordan fights through a solar flare.

Speaker 4:

I didn't know if it was just me.

Speaker 1:

I didn't want to. I was really hoping it wasn't noticeable. No, what was that?

Speaker 4:

It was so bad.

Speaker 1:

Jordan's going through an astrological like event like a solar eclipse a little bit do you have a ring light.

Speaker 3:

Is that what that is? Is it adjusting?

Speaker 1:

it's, yeah, it's adjusting why, I think it's because I keep leaning forward towards it don't go towards the light it just got so bright out of nowhere like oh shit, jordan's gonna be disintegrated.

Speaker 3:

It was there, it is again is jordan an interstellar? Did we miss speaking of that?

Speaker 4:

did we miss interstellar and imax eric uh honestly, I'm not sure, but, um, at this rate, we probably did, we probably did. We miss Interstellar and IMAX, eric? Honestly I'm not sure, but at this rate, we probably did, we probably did. That's all we've talked about as well.

Speaker 3:

For months Obnoxiously. Interstellar IMAX re-release Hold on.

Speaker 4:

Yep, welcome to the episode, guys, november what did I miss? We are excited Next week.

Speaker 3:

Oh no, it's only on December 6th, when we're going to for my birthday, we're going to cancel it.

Speaker 4:

Cancel plans. Just go to Interstellar.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I guess you're doing Interstellar for your birthday.

Speaker 3:

Honestly, you could rent a theater yeah. I'm sure I could rent Interstellar and IMAX for my birthday. Okay, we'll have to look into that. We'll have to look into that a little bit later. Disclaimer, as I tell everybody who is coming into the podcast for maybe the first time, if this is the first episode you've ever clicked on for the Way4 podcast, sorry, this is our most unhinged and just crazy episode that we do. There is very little editing. There is obviously Jordan is in some sort of echo chamber.

Speaker 4:

It's just not getting any better. You're drawing more attention to it, Jordan stop, Stop please.

Speaker 1:

I'm trying to fix it. I also have bronchitis. I showed everyone on Patreon my prescriptions but if you would like to see, you have to subscribe to Patreon.

Speaker 4:

I'm not going to show my prescriptions. That's right.

Speaker 3:

Don't do that.

Speaker 4:

We're only revealing personal information on the Patreon?

Speaker 3:

Yeah no HIPAA violations in free episodes, only in paid content. So, yeah, this is our most just, casual episode. We go through the previous month and we each select a pop culture story and we present it to the group and then at the end of the episode, we play a game. This is one of the episodes we do recommend that you watch on our YouTube page, at least when it comes to the game, there will be a little bit of a visual element. When it comes to the game, there will be a little bit of a visual element to it, but before that, you're typically pretty good to listen to audio only.

Speaker 3:

But, eric, we have been off this week, which has been nice, but we are returning in the month of December for the with a lot of content, like there is. I think there's like technically one less episode, but there's not because there's going to be like three bonus episodes across five podcasts and all of this stuff. We're man. December is going to be crazy, but it's going to be a whole lot of fun and I'm excited. I'm very nervous I don't know if you know this and we'll reveal this here Now. We're doing spirited. Remember we watched spirited last year, the Christmas movie on Apple TV. We're doing that as late to the party. I think Eric will enjoy it because of the music. I think he'll enjoy it, but we'll see. Yes, very much enjoy it.

Speaker 2:

I love that movie.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's so, so good, and then we haven't fully locked it in. But our international feature, as we teased a couple weeks ago, is a movie. When you type in international movie and Christmas, it's like the movie that comes up for an international film when it comes to Krampus.

Speaker 1:

No, die Hard.

Speaker 3:

No, no, not Die Hard, although, no, I've seen Die Hard. I was like have.

Speaker 4:

I seen Die Hard. Should we do that?

Speaker 3:

I've seen it. No, I've seen Die Hard. So Game Ruin Happens episode. This isn't really a secret. Marvel Rivals comes out in a week. Super excited for that. Can't wait to be just horrible at that game, but very excited to play it because I think it will be a lot of fun. But with that being said, folks, we need to get to our first story, and that means I'm gonna have to pull up a different wheel, because the other wheel, the normal wheel, is already occupied and I don't want to, not after I don't want to mess up that wheel yeah, no, uh, something about multiple wheels is concerning.

Speaker 4:

It feels like with one, there was already a lot of elements going against us there. But hey, two wheels, I'm here for it. Jordan and Flynn both know how the wheel works. But in case this is your first time listening, we could choose a story and be civil. But nope, we're gonna just invite anarchy to the equation and we're going to spin that wheel and in that cadence we're going to spin that wheel and in that cadence we're going to count down and then say the magic words and determine who's going first. And hopefully some of us brought back up stories, because lately it seems like it's been very close, very hit or miss. That is a very different wheel. It is just very hard to look at compared to what we've had before.

Speaker 1:

Looks like a pickle.

Speaker 3:

I can mess around with like colors and stuff, but we're not going to do that right now. Okay, I can also put in pictures.

Speaker 4:

Well, everyone's going to be clear to go and unmuted and we're going to count down, we're going to count down, we're going to do it Three, two, one, spin, spin that Wheel. That's exciting stuff.

Speaker 3:

You know it's crazy because how much this wheel has been imprinted into our lives, Not this wheel specifically, but just like we as a group rely on this wheel. I actually had the wheel decide what I got at Whataburger the other morning and I was like I think I might have a problem. I think I might have a problem. We got Eric first. What's that? It's the wheel.

Speaker 1:

I only make decisions by the wheel.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we live and die by the wheel and eventually that's going to come back and bite us, but it hasn't so far. So I think we're fine. But, eric, you go first. I don't know how many times you've ever gone first really in this series. I feel like it has not happened too often. But what did we miss? Are we going to cover just the most interesting story that happened in November here first?

Speaker 4:

Or were you able to come across something else.

Speaker 4:

So I'm going to pick a big story from this month that has nothing to do with the three things we touched on at the top of the episode, but I think it's still pretty big and it kind of falls in line with what we discuss on this particular podcast, and that, of course, is your remakes and your live action films.

Speaker 4:

And I think at this point, everyone here has seen the how to Train your Dragon teaser and I'm very, very curious how we feel about this.

Speaker 4:

When it comes to how to Train your Dragon, this is very much one of the biggest opportunities for DreamWorks if they're going to jump into the live action game and, of course, up until now, this has kind of been Disney's bag to take IP like this and turn it from animated to live action. With that being said, I am very curious how we feel, not only seeing the trailer, but what this is going to mean moving forward for a lot of different animated films, because now I feel that it was already a wide open Pandora's box before, but now we've just completely lost the plot and I think, moving forward, we're going to see so many different films become live action in an attempt to tell the story in a different medium, but in some situations become a cash grab. So with that, phil, I know you have some strong, maybe negative, opinions about the trailer, so we'll kind of start with you. What was your initial reaction and what does this mean? Moving forward.

Speaker 3:

It just looks soulless and lifeless. When you're talking about how to train your dragon, I mean, people were kind of like gassing up the you know the very end scene where it's hiccup and toothless and everyone's like, oh look, how good it looks. And I'm like no, all you have to do is look in the eyes, look at the eyes of the live action, um, toothless. And look at the eyes of the animated toothless and it just doesn't hold a candle. I mean, granted, it does look good, cgi wise, the drag like toothless looks fine, but everything else, like Burke in live action I just don't think works, because that kind of village is just very drab and very gray. It looks like a really old movie, like from the early 2000s, like that color grade and, granted, like we've seen very little of it. But I think this is just setting more bad precedent.

Speaker 3:

Um, we have seen like a little bit of a teaser for lilo and stitch. Eric, you made a very good argument about that that I'll let you make. In terms of lilo and stitch has been like gone for a little bit, whereas moana and, um, even how to change your dragon is still relatively recent. But yeah, it just looks soulless, looks void color and I am not excited to see it. I will go see it to give it a shot. I gave Lion King a shot. Right, I can go see how to Train your Dragon. I owe them that at least. But no, all this is going to make me want is for them to revisit the animation and then eventually go to Epic Universe in the summer, and that's what I want from how to Change your Dragon at this point, not a live action.

Speaker 4:

I do think Epic Universe probably has something to do with all of this, in addition to the fact that, again, live action films are becoming a real thing from their animated counterparts. For me, I definitely think that it's just too soon for a franchise like this, where, when you look at Lilo and Stitch, not also very excited for that, but I can understand. It's been a long time and Disney has had a track record of taking those films and turning them into live action, though, again, I don't agree with the Moana decision. Again, I also think that's a great example, phil, that you reference. Don't think that's fair to make that movie right now, phyllin, what are your thoughts about it? Have you seen the trailer and what are your kind of thoughts overall about the whole situation?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I actually have seen the trailer. I think what's interesting about DreamWorks doing it is that their animation is so very different from Disney's. Like seeing that movie, like the way that the hair moves, the way that the characters like, just the way their facial, it's very real to me. Like I think these movies that Disney are doing like they're very, they're much other than Moana, they're much older, so they are the 2D animation, so you can turn that into a live action and it's going to look very different. But with DreamWorks they're so good about making their movies seem like it's not animation, like that's what I've always loved about their movies is that they just have a real factor to them. So to take how to Train your Dragon, which looked so real, and make it into a live action, just doesn't make sense to me at all.

Speaker 4:

That makes a ton of sense, and I think that's what a lot of people are really starting to feel like when it comes to this. The good news is that they do have the same director at the helm, so there's a little bit of a familiarity there. Gerard Butler is coming back. I think that's a perfect, you know, casting choice, for obvious reasons, jordan. I'm curious because I know with the three of us, we're very into how to Train your Dragon. We're big fans of it. Are you a fan of how to Train your Dragon? Have you seen the trailer and what are your thoughts just overall about the whole thing?

Speaker 1:

I've seen the trailer. I wouldn't say I'm like a big fan. I've seen the movie but I honestly it's like how I feel about most DreamWorks movies or animations. I'm like this is pretty good, like I think how to Train your Dragon is pretty good and I've also voiced this opinion previously, I think in our last. What Did I Miss? Because I think we talked about a movie of some sort going into live action.

Speaker 1:

But I just feel like the addition of live action is just so unnecessary for some animated films. Disney we see it so much. I mean, like Lilo and Stitch is coming in May and I like Lilo and Stitch but like like Flynn said, it is shocking that it is like DreamWorks, because I feel like they've already had such great animations and like they are very stuck on their animations. Like I don't think we ever saw them going in live action ever. Like this is like a really huge turn for them. I think that the trailer what I've been noticing is people started comparing it to clips of the animated movie and it looks like they're pretty much staying very true to like parts of the movie, but it just feels. But if they're doing that, I feel like it's unnecessary because it's like so true to it already. Like why would you replicate it? No, a hundred percent. Like why would you?

Speaker 4:

replicate it no, 100% and honestly, the whole thing in general is just a talking point right now and I thought it was a good story to bring up in the multitude of the big ones that were out there, this is a little bit smaller. And then there's also the other kind of BS conversation, like Astrid and the casting there and people not feeling very great about that. Hey, this is the world we live in and for some reason that's a talking point. We really want to dissect, in a world of dragons, how real or legit something could be. As far as casting, I don't know. So that's my story and that's where. That's where I'll end it.

Speaker 1:

The thing about Astrid. I feel like it's a huge cycle that we go through all the time with these animations going into live action. Everyone always has a complaint about the cast that's being put into it, because for the longest time I feel like for years people have these like fan casts of who they want to be in specific roles, and then seeing someone who's 100 hundred percent not that like everyone goes crazy.

Speaker 4:

I just think it's silly because, again, like these are all movies at the end of the day, so like Astrid, because she's not blonde and she's not white, like that's an issue because she's a Viking, and in that time that wouldn't have been accurate. I just watched gladiator too. Neither would the dragon. Denzel Washington just played himself in ancient Rome and I was so down with it I didn't complain about that casting. So there's just so many silly stuff like that that I'll mention it for the fact that it's happening, but I don't try to draw too much more attention, because it's completely ignorant and it's just dumb.

Speaker 2:

I don't try to draw too much more attention because it's completely ignorant and it's just dumb. I also wanted to make an additional point. From what Jordan made about Disney changing the films. I think that's another thing that benefits them, at least Disney-wide. For instance, the Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast those stories are very outdated with this time. So the way that they change those films for the, for the women in particular, to be stronger and be more independent, like it speaks more to this generation. So that works for them. But, like we're saying, like how to train your dragon is a very newer film and there's not really much more lesson that you can teach, because it did teach a very beautiful and current lesson right now you know I take it back.

Speaker 3:

I can't wait to see cgi toothless blow a hole into gerard butler in the second one. Just just game of thrones style gore I just want to say Game of Thrones style gore Spoilers for the second how to Train your Dragon.

Speaker 3:

How dare you? I can't believe. We also can't move on from live action until we talk about this Maui suit. I'm sorry we have to discuss the Rock in this Maui suit because, eric, you made a good point. He could have just been his own body and we would have been fine with it, but you made a. You made a point about maybe he didn't want to sit there that long for the makeup.

Speaker 4:

Well, according to the rumors of red one, he was like eight hours late to set every day pissing in water bottles. So I don't know what is true or what's going on with his image. He's got to know that his image is I don't want to say in shambles, because that's a little harsh, but he's got to be self-aware enough low.

Speaker 4:

It's at an all-time low, for sure, and and that's higher than most people. But for him, I think he's got to feel it and I don't think that this really helps, because it's fucking goofy. It's absolutely goofy. If you just had him in his regular body, which is already very impressive for a man of his age, and just in general, and then just his tattoos, as they are they don't have to be exactly like Maui. You could add on to what he has and that would have been easier. I think there's this misunderstanding that he needs to fully represent that character as well, and I just think it's already a goofy character to bring to live action in the first place. So again, the more unrealistic it is, the less I'm on board with it, and it's just one thing on top of another with the rock and some of the decisions, because the rock in a bodysuit never, never, put that on my bingo card in life. And here we are.

Speaker 1:

Have you seen this like tweet of the Rock? Like it's like four frames from movies that the Rock is in and it's they all look like it's from the same movie but they're all from like different movies. It's always him in like the jungle. I think it was like he was just himself in Moana. I want that to be added to that. Yeah him in khaki pants and a white t-shirt. Yeah, like him in like a safari type of look or whatever he's been doing.

Speaker 4:

It's always the same movie, it's always the same shtick. It's kind of over. Phil's had the argument for the longest time that the Rock has not been in a good movie at all At all. And if you don't count the Fast movies, which are in his franchise.

Speaker 3:

He hasn't been the main character, yeah, the main character of a good movie the lead. He hasn't been the lead, yeah, the lead. And I'm a big Walking Tall fan.

Speaker 4:

I gotta bring up Walking Tall every time and sound like a fucking doofus, because I don't know why we're bringing up Walking Tall in 2024. But I do enjoy that movie Objectively objectively not a great movie, though.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, until Jumanji, which again is an ensemble, so that's not all on him. So, yeah, and I like Hobbs and Shaw as well, and Rampage is the best movie in the. Monsterverse Nope, nope, alright, we're gonna move on. That's where we stop and we bring back the wheel Fucking Rampage, this ugly-ass wheel dude, holy shit.

Speaker 4:

Look at that wheel. Fucking rampage, this ugly ass wheel dude, holy shit. Look at that wheel.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, aesthetically it's not great. Add right below it, I can't remove the add.

Speaker 1:

You could have made it like R colors for wait for it.

Speaker 3:

No, I did it, I literally did it just now.

Speaker 4:

Shout out to Walmart not a sponsor, let's just get this over with.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, not a sponsor. All right here we go Alright, three, two, one Spin, spin that, that Wheel, wheel, wheel.

Speaker 3:

I think I was fast on that one. That was my bad.

Speaker 1:

I was about to say I don't really know, honestly we're figuring it out as we go. Woo, uh, oh, and why?

Speaker 4:

do we do this? Why don't we just go first or let them go first? I'd never understand it. Phil, what was your story for the month of november?

Speaker 3:

I'm taking the easy one, uh, because we can't not talk about it. We have to talk about it like, again, the only interesting thing that has really happened this month, um, in terms of just like juicy gossip. So, eric, we literally were talking yesterday about how it's so funny that out of all this stuff that Drake hasn't sued for defamation, like this whole time he's been like there's no way people have been streaming Not Like Us this that many times, not addressing the part where it's like I think you hit on Millie Bobby Brown when she was 16. None of that. Well, that is about to change, as Drake hints at suing his own label for defamation over not like us. The rapper has alleged alleges he has already. So he already has sufficient evidence to pursue a defamation action over the pedophile line, but currently lacks evidence to sue his record label for racketeering.

Speaker 3:

Drake is doubling down in his ongoing legal war against his own label and Kendrick Lamar is not like us, filing a new legal action in Texas that alleges Universal Music Group knowingly allowed Lamar to call him a certified pedophile as it sought to drive consumer hysteria and massive revenues. The new petition, filed late Monday in Bexar County, texas, is requesting pre-lawsuit dispositions from iHeartMedia and UMG representatives to explore Drake's allegations that UMG recordings quote funneled payments to iHeartRadio and its radio stations as part of a pay-to-play scheme. Drake alleges he already has sufficient evidence to pursue a defamation claim, but currently lacks factual support necessary to determine whether he may bring claims of civil fraud and racketeering against UMG. According to his filing, drake believes UMG and unidentified co-conspirators quote violated payola laws. The new filing comes after Drake's company Frozen Monuments brought an action against UMG in New York on Monday which accused the music giant of conspiring with third parties to illegally boost Lamar's track on streaming services such as Spotify. In that petition, drake specifically accused UMG of engaging in pay-to-play schemes to increase the airplay of Not Like Us on the radio. Umg has denied any wrongdoing in a statement Quote the suggestion that UMG would do anything to undermine any of its artists is offensive and untrue. A UMG spokesperson said in a statement to Rolling Stone, continuing we employ the highest ethical practices in our marketing and promotional campaigns.

Speaker 3:

No amount of contrived and absurd legal arguments in this pre-action submission can make the fact that fans choose the music that they want to hear A lot more. Here in this Rolling Stone article, I'll tell you what if you were to pull the actual numbers of how much I've listened to Not Like Us in 2024, it might go up to a million. I don't know. It's my alarm clock, it's my ringtone. I have embodied just the hatred that Kendrick Lamar has spread to Drake throughout all of 2024 and adopted it as my mantra.

Speaker 3:

So this is just absolutely crazy. I mean, rap battles have been happening for decades and I don't know that we have ever seen anything like this. I mean, in the early 2000s, nas just absolutely eviscerated Jay-Z and I don't think there's ever a lawsuit, uh, involved. So this is nuts. I mean drake not helping himself, not helping his image. Philin, I'll throw it to you first. Uh, obviously we've been listening a lot to the kendrick album that just surprise dropped this past weekend. I'm sure you guys know what our favorite song is, specifically me and eric. But, um, what do you think about this in terms of drake going the legal act route for the next stage of this quote-unquote battle that, for all intents and purposes, is over?

Speaker 2:

it. It's just an interesting choice because I guess with him making this choice, I feel like it now opens him up for the other allegations that he talks about in the songs. Then can that fall on him. If there's proof out there for all these different things that he's doing with these girls. You're just putting yourself into a hole like I don't know. I just I. I don't have much to say.

Speaker 3:

To be honest, it's because it does kind of like leave you speechless because you're like he's doing what, like he? Just he did this with Joe Budden, you know, a few years ago, and that was another terrible feud Not very good on either side, to be honest with you and Joe Budden wasn't like. You know what I'm going to? I'm going to pursue legal action against Drake because of what he said, because he was mean to me. Now, granted, drake and Joe Budden didn't call each other pedophiles.

Speaker 3:

I don't think this did go an extra route, but, listen, drake asked for this and he's taking, I think, one of the most ridiculous routes that I've ever seen when it comes to this possible Jordan. You know, we obviously have been very much had not like us on repeat. So the allegations that no one's listening to the song or there's no way people have listened to this song, this much is absolutely ridiculous. So, as someone who I know has enjoyed watching Kendrick take it to Drake here in 2024, initial reactions to this as far as him going to court, and also, are you one of those many people that are still playing Not Like Us?

Speaker 1:

Oh, I still play, not Like Us. I even still play euphoria. I really like euphoria a lot. And, um, this is, it's just so fucking stupid in my opinion. I agree with felin that him bringing attention to this by suing um kendrick is really just going to fall back on him, because now everyone's like why is he so defensive about it? And that's the thing is that he was very defensive about specifically that part in the song.

Speaker 1:

And diss tracks aren't new. This is not new. There's always diss tracks that people really like. Like Megan Thee Stallion had one. She had Hiss earlier.

Speaker 1:

Nicki Minaj always has a diss track about some other female rapper.

Speaker 1:

It's like everyone's always like beefing with do anything about it. Drake's taking it a little too far, also taking it late, because that was like a huge that I don't even know when the song came out, but definitely like earlier in the year yeah, I was gonna say over the summer. So it's like that's been there for a while and I feel like even the allegations of drake being a pedophile and like hitting on millie bob brown, hitting on billy eilish, like everyone's seen it in the news, everyone's had those suspicions that he has been like surrounding himself with younger musicians and stars and like praying after 18 year olds, and he's never made a comment about it until it became this popular song, everyone's favorite line to scream at the clubs. You know, and that's the thing is. I, I don't believe that he, I can't believe he thinks that it's not a song that's listened to as much because it's blasting everywhere like it's literally all over the place yeah, eric, we heard it at a ocala comic-con after party in a tiki bar.

Speaker 3:

That song played in the middle and everyone went fucking wild for it. Everyone went nuts. So, yeah, the fact that he is taking this route is crazy. And also eric I'm sure I don't know if you've seen some people pointing this out like, how is he going to sue over defamation if he is saying that his team fed kendrick the information? So is he really suing himself? What's happening here?

Speaker 4:

Well, listen, first and foremost, what Kendrick Lamar did defamation. The definition of defamation is what Kendrick Lamar did to Drake, and I wish he would do it all over again. So that's just where I sit on. That. That's my thought process.

Speaker 4:

I think if you're doing this, you probably don't want kendrick to perform that at the super bowl. So I I just gotta make some type of logic as to why you would take this big of an l in your own genre, in your own medium, in your own game, like if you are a big dog in rap and hip hop or whatever. Like this cannot be a good look for you If you are the star that everyone says that you are, and it doesn't help the soft allegations either. It doesn't help the pedophile allegations, to be completely honest with you. So none of these things go in his favor. I'm just assuming he maybe wants that Super Bowl performance to be hit a little bit and to lighten the blow, but the damage is already done. Like it's an iconic song it is what it is. Nothing's going to change that. But yeah, is it defamation? Does he have a right to sue? 110% for sure. It's just a real bitch move, honestly.

Speaker 3:

I mean he literally had, like the hoods of Los Angeles united with red and blue, like handkerchiefs on stage. Do you think, drake?

Speaker 4:

decided this the fourth or fifth time that?

Speaker 3:

Kendrick played, not Like Us, back to back. And then there's still rumors that another album is coming before the Super Bowl. Like it's insane man. I don't know that and I've hated a lot of people for a lot of dumb things. I don't know that I've ever hated somebody that get the way Kendrick has been preparing for this. I don't want to know what's in the J Cole folder. I love J Cole too much. He's off doing his own thing. He went off and rode his bike and did his own thing. I don't want that folder to ever come out because this is just absolutely crazy, really quick. Eric, do you want to give a review of the album, because I have been bumping it nonstop since it's surprise released on Friday.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean quick plug to the Wait For it playlist which is on Spotify, that we update every Monday. It's essentially just Kendrick's album. I really like the album. I like it a lot, probably a solid. You know we don't normally rate albums, so we're kind of going off the cuff here. But 7 1⁄2, 8, eight, like it's not a perfect album.

Speaker 4:

There there are some songs, um, that I didn't really vibe with, but the ones that I did are like, really really good, like squabble up. Obviously tv off I'm a big fan of the heart series, so anytime I see a new part to that series I really enjoy it. And then reincarnated, I liked a lot. I feel like it's not getting as much love as it should. Same with man at the Garden. So there are really good songs on here. Just a couple songs that I didn't really vibe with or I wouldn't put on more than once or twice. Where the others that I like, I'm bumping those constantly and we're yelling mustard, so that's got to count for something those constantly and we're yelling mustard, so that's got to count for something.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I was telling y'all there was probably a toss up in terms of who my Spotify artist of the year was going to be. Could it be Kendrick? Could it be Tori Kelly? Could it be Troutish Gambino? It's over now. This, this album, put the nail in the coffin for my Spotify wrapped, which we're just weeks away, and Kendrick is definitely going to take that spot. So, yeah, but we'll see how this goes. Drake, I guess I mean bringing more attention to this and taking this route is crazy. We will definitely be monitoring it because it is absolutely entertaining.

Speaker 1:

So I just want to know what pushed him over the edge, Like I just imagine his. Which which thing was it?

Speaker 3:

And he's like I think it was the mustard, I think it was people yelling mustard. I think that might have been it. That could have been the, the straw that broke the camel's back, but we will see how that goes. But let's bring back the wheel. Two more spots left here, eric. As we wind up, as we wind down, the November edition Take it away.

Speaker 4:

Yep, this episode not sponsored by Jeep in any way.

Speaker 1:

But if you'd like to get one definitely do that, or OxiClean Sponsored by OxiClean.

Speaker 4:

We cannot use this wheel again. Anyway, let's just count it down Three, two, one, spin, spin.

Speaker 1:

That Wheel. That wasn't bad I kind of forgot how no.

Speaker 4:

There we go.

Speaker 2:

All right, Flynn what did we miss?

Speaker 3:

in November.

Speaker 2:

So I noticed a trend every single time I come on this episode I always talk about horror, so I just had to kind of just keep it up. So I just wanted to talk about the Pooniverse. Woo and the Pooniverse has released their new movie coming in 2025, which is Popeye the Slayer man. It will be released in. That's so good. It will be released in. It will be released in 2025.

Speaker 2:

Um, let's see, it says that it's by the same people that make winning the poo blood and honey. Um, the official trailer for the scary slasher movie shows the main character making a documentary about a mysterious and creepy figure called sailor man. He investigates the myth and legend of this man, while also learning that a factory shut down thanks to contaminated spinach. Um, there wasn't a lot of horror news, guys, sorry. So this is what I settled with.

Speaker 2:

So I just wanted to open up the conversation, just kind of going into like we always talk about, like remakes and like different movies. So I just wanted to open up the conversation of like what do you think this is going to keep growing and do you think what other cartoon shows would you be interested in or you think would just be hilariously funny? Um, I thought of, I think fairly odd parents would be really cool, like, um, the fairly odd parents are actually evil and they convince timmy to, kind of like, go against all their bullies and they create all these scary monsters to go against them. That's kind of what I came up with, so I just wanted to open up the conversation with everybody.

Speaker 1:

I'm gonna go first. I would absolutely love to see this universe keep going. I would like to see the cartoons be turned into horror movies as much as I'm like let's do away with these live actions, no live action, horror. Of all cartoons that I know of and love dearly, I swear the Pooh, the Pooh-niverse, is really good. I'm excited about this Popeye movie. I think horror going in this stupid direction is a great one. You know, maybe we could get like a Finding Nemo of horror. It's like Jaws, but it's more fish, just more fish. It's just a lot of fish.

Speaker 3:

Just more fish or Toy Story Toy.

Speaker 1:

Story as a horror. Imagine Toy Story as a horror.

Speaker 3:

I mean Toy Story 1 has horror elements in it, so I think that could.

Speaker 1:

Live action Give me more.

Speaker 3:

Eric, I don't remember when you brought up the Pooniverse originally, like a year ago. I don't remember Popeye being part of it. That's new right.

Speaker 4:

I believe that's why we're talking about it today. I don't know what to fucking do with this. I don't know what to do with my hands. I don't know what to do with my hands. I don't know what we're doing here. Yeah, no, to echo the thoughts that I had when we talked about the Pooniverse absolutely silly should happen, Not gonna see any of them, but there's an audience. There's definitely an audience somewhere for these films, and that includes this one in particular, I will promote the Blood and Honey Kill Counts.

Speaker 2:

They're great.

Speaker 3:

Kill Counts are very good. How did we get? Because, yeah, Bambi, Pinocchio and Peter Pan, so Popeye is part of it, though.

Speaker 2:

I don't know if it's part of the Pooniverse. I think it's just the makers of the Pooniverse.

Speaker 3:

Okay, oh, maybe we're getting multiversal crossovers.

Speaker 1:

It's like a cameo.

Speaker 2:

Like Betty Boop. We're going to get a Betty Boop, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, fairly, all Parents is a good one. Like Betty Boop, we're gonna get a Betty Boop, yeah, yeah, um, yeah, fairly, all Parents is a good one. Um, I could think of, like, maybe, like, uh, a evil um Dexter's Laboratory where he's just like a really deranged um scientist. I think that could probably be pretty good, but, um, yeah, like you said, there's definitely a space for this with. When it comes to silly horror, those are the kind of movies that I, I, uh, tend to lean towards. Again, I'm not going to see any of these, just like eric, but you know, it's kind of crazy to think that, behind the mcu, behind the monster verse, the punaiverse could be the most successful one in terms of being in third place, surpassing the DCEU and also surpassing, remember, the Monsterverse that they tried to do with Universal, with the mummy and what was it? Dr Jekyll, when they tried to reboot all that. This could be the third most successful one, which is crazy to think.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, spin that, however you'd like. Phil, spin that story, however you'd like. Congratulations.

Speaker 2:

And the Mickey one isn't part of the Poonoverus right. That was a completely separate one.

Speaker 3:

No, yeah, that one was separate. Again, I pitched the idea that if in the Pinocchio one, if there isn't a part of the movie where he tells a lie, snaps his nose off and then stabs somebody to death, I don't want the movie, I don't want it. So they better at least bare minimum.

Speaker 4:

They better have Jiminy the noble phoenix. The noble phoenix, you're terrible. This isenix, you're terrible, this is terrible.

Speaker 3:

You're terrible, oh man, please don't ever make Puss in Boots. The last wish live action. For the love of God, please, please, don't ever.

Speaker 1:

They can't, they cannot.

Speaker 3:

We don't ever need a live action. Shrek, for the love of Christ, please make sure that does not happen.

Speaker 4:

Mike Myers in an actual ogre outfit, though it would be unhinged. That would be the horror movie I want to see A Shrek horror movie would work.

Speaker 3:

A Shrek horror movie could work pretty well, good.

Speaker 1:

Okay.

Speaker 3:

That's what he says. That's correct. Good job, Jordan. Shut the fuck up what, flynn?

Speaker 4:

this is your fault, your fault.

Speaker 3:

I'm gonna attempt to move this along there wasn't a lot of horror news.

Speaker 4:

I'm sorry, just pick any other news.

Speaker 1:

No, I just want to stay on trend with what I've been doing for the past few episodes. Alright, this episode brought to you by progressive and Geico.

Speaker 3:

somehow there's two. I just want to stay on trend with what I've been doing for the past few episodes. All right, this episode brought to you by Progressive and Geico somehow there's Progressive and a Geico ad on the screen right now.

Speaker 4:

We're going to try it again.

Speaker 3:

One more time.

Speaker 4:

Two One.

Speaker 1:

Spin.

Speaker 2:

That Wheel, Eric. Why don't you say it? Why don't you say it?

Speaker 4:

Yeah, why aren't you saying it? It's been so bad today. I had to see if you could do it on your own and it seemed to help, so it's.

Speaker 3:

Jordan, it's Jordan. Jordan has the last story of the month of November. Jordan, what did we miss? What did you come across in the month of November?

Speaker 1:

All right. So it's kind of a crossover of November slash, end of October, but I wanted to talk about a rising trend that has been all over social media. It's the obsession with celebrity lookalike contests. So I was looking at the timeline of celebrity lookalike contests in particular and how. Looking at the timeline of celebrity lookalike contests in particular and how it started with the timothy chalamet one, I guess that started off as a joke completely, where someone put a sign up and it's just built this community of all these people who really want to enter this contest, show that they look like, um, timothy chalamet, and then now we're seeing so many more celebrities be depicted like Jeremy Allen White had one. It was mostly people just dressed as carmy um, with aprons, regardless of their skin color and regardless of what they actually look like, which I think is really funny.

Speaker 1:

I think this is just like a fun trend that's been going on, especially in the midst of like just the stress of like, november. Not much has been going on. We've had politics at the beginning of the month and now we have something else that's really been coming alive and I think it's really just a cool thing. That's been coming um, I think recently, and there's been a lot since the Timothee Chalamet one. I could go on with the list, but the most recent one was Glenn Powell's um lookalike contest, which was a really cool one. Um, I don't know if you guys heard a lot about it, but I was looking into it. Um, that contest in particular, his mom helped judge, so that was really cool of her to do.

Speaker 1:

Um, and I think it just also is like a really interesting thing to see, like when the celebrity themselves kind of puts themselves in the contest because it's like they want to have fun with it too, like this is their identity, they want to see it. So I think Timothee Chalamet showed up, but obviously Glenn Powell is a busy man. He's probably filming for other things, so he didn't show up in person, but he did send a video message for the Glennenn powell contest, which he's such a sweet guy, and I think he even contributed to the prize of the glenn powell looks like contest. I think the person who won gets like a free cameo from him. That's like directed to them. Um, and I think that's cool too.

Speaker 1:

It's just the different prizes, since it's just a fun contest. No one's really taking it seriously. People are getting like 15, 50 a card or even just bragging rights. So this is really a cool thing that's been happening. I think we're going to be seeing more. I think, like challengers recently also had a lookalike contest this week, so excited to see more lookalike contests. So this is my way of pitching that we should have a wait for it lookalike contest at the next convention, where people who look like eric and phil show up.

Speaker 2:

So it's just gonna be me and step on step on it literally have those people like on standby exactly, yeah, there you go.

Speaker 1:

well, if anything I mean, and then like grayson can be like a little you, he could just wear your little headband that you wear to the Jags games.

Speaker 3:

In a beard Like a.

Speaker 1:

Jaguar shirt In a beard. Yeah, what's the next convention that's coming up? Collective Con or Brick.

Speaker 3:

City no Brick City Anime Festival.

Speaker 1:

All right guys. So I'm already saying it the Wait for the Lookalike contest is going to be at Brick City Anime Festival in Ocala. Stop by the wait for people if you look like Phil or Eric.

Speaker 3:

That's just a bunch of Filipinos and Italians. Nobody wants that, I will say. Actually, to tack on to this, I believe it wasn't like a cameo, that like a video they give away. They get a cameo in his next movie I think the winner of his of the look-alike contest is going to be in the next, in his next film, and he was like I'm totally serious, um does, yeah, that's what he's going to give away.

Speaker 1:

uh, for one, the look-alike contest, which is pretty cool you know, feels a little bit more prepared, because I just read cameo I was like there's the prize, no I.

Speaker 3:

I think I have a Google alert for Glenn Powell, so I've been keeping up with this. One thing that I thought was really funny Somebody tweeted about this because there's so many lookalike contests, is everybody in New York City unemployed? How the fuck is everyone going to every lookalike contest in the city? There's just a group of people gathered around in the park for whatever lookalike contest is going around. Side note, I am having a Zendaya lookalike contest here in Jacksonville. There will be one winner and I will be the only judge.

Speaker 1:

What do they win? The Sydney Sweeney lookalike contest. You're going to announce the prize.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, sydney Sweeney herself. What was the challengers look like? Contest is people dressed up in tennis outfits. I swear to God, people. I watched challengers recently. It was OK, but people did not understand that tennis existed before. This is the introduction to tennis.

Speaker 1:

Okay, but people did not understand that tennis existed before Challengers. This is the introduction to tennis. No, it was literally just people dressed in tennis outfits. No one tried to be like Zendaya in particular. I think some people did, but it was mostly focused on the other guys. So people were dressed.

Speaker 3:

All right, eric, let's go to that Challengers lookalike contest and you bring the churro.

Speaker 4:

It's just two white guys. We can get it done. We could do it now full in. How are you feeling about this whole story?

Speaker 2:

it's so I get. I'm looking at the more negative side of it, like, um, I'm thinking of those two girls on tiktok that impersonate taylor, swift and ariana grande like, at what point do like these things, like get to those people's heads and like it goes to the extreme, like this girl, um, that unfortunately has made an OF account as Ariana Grande, you know, like, what is it like? When does it reach the level of creepy? I guess it's my question.

Speaker 1:

That's the scary thing is, like these winners you don't actually know, like, what their thought process is like, do they really take this win seriously? Like I'll be honest, though, some of these people who won these contests look absolutely nothing like who's they're like showing up for, like the hairstyles one ridiculous. I think the jeremy allen white one was pretty close, but again, I think they're also just it's literally a cosplay contest. So like, who looks the most? Like carmy, who looks the best in an apron? Um, and it was like a willy wonka cosplay for timothy chalamet. No one else was dressed as anything, it was mostly playboy I agree with for Timothee Chalamet.

Speaker 4:

No one else was dressed as anything, it was mostly Playboy. I agree with the negative side of it. But you know, there are some things that kind of come out really nice, Like there's that one Doctor Strange impersonator, the Benedict Cumberbatch impersonator, who's been like on red carpets and like goes to hospitals and like takes pictures and stuff, so like I don't know. It's a different mixture of like positive and negative. I think it can get a little weird if that's like your whole identity, so like if you do it very casually, almost like in the sense of like a cosplay, maybe a little more frequent than that, that makes sense. But I think the problem is a lot of these people tend to get labeled as an impersonator or a lookalike and they make it their whole livelihood and I think that's where we kind of draw the line. If you're making financials at that point and it's not just like a hobby, that's probably where I would draw the line.

Speaker 3:

There was a Shrek one yesterday.

Speaker 4:

Shrek has really come into, yeah, shrek has come up a lot here in the last.

Speaker 2:

Like Shrek like the human Shrek has come up a lot here in the last Shrek like the human version, Nope.

Speaker 3:

Ogre.

Speaker 1:

Nope, it's like the Ogre version.

Speaker 3:

It happened actually earlier today in LA.

Speaker 4:

Was it just people that were green for Wicked and they saw it and they were like oh, I'm already ready for this I'm ready to go.

Speaker 1:

The paint hasn't washed off from them. Might as well.

Speaker 3:

That one happened today. Let's see, I don't even know who some of these people are. Who is Jack Schlossberg? I don't even know who that is.

Speaker 1:

I saw the article, for that was like it's a jack off and I'm like I don't know if I want to do that, so I'll figure something else out.

Speaker 3:

Jesus Christ. Please use that for the clip, Eric. I don't know what to do with any of this. Is Timothee Chalamet the only one that showed up to his lookalike contest. So far. He's the only one that showed up, right.

Speaker 1:

So far that I'm seeing no Shrek.

Speaker 3:

Shrek didn't show up.

Speaker 1:

Shrek didn't show up, sorry.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we'll see how long this lasts, but I mean, it seems like for the most part so far it's been harmless. But again, like Philin pointed out, we gotta monitor this. We don't need to let it get too out of control. But, um, guys, that's our four stories. Do we have any that didn't make the cut? Uh, phil, and I know you maybe had like an extra one if you want to throw it out there, but I'll throw out mine first um, for just a couple of really, really quick um stories here that I also brought up, phil Spencer from Microsoft isn't ruling out that any Xbox exclusives will make the jump to PlayStation, including Halo. I think that would be very interesting to kind of bring Halo into the PlayStation community strictly for multiplayer purposes. I think maybe you could even get a little bit of a resurgence of the game that is kind of pretty much dead at this point, unfortunately.

Speaker 3:

We obviously have a lot of really fond memories playing Halo. During the Gladiator 2 press tour, denzel Washington revealed that Ryan Coogler is writing a part for him in Black Panther 3. I think all of us collectively had a little bit of mixed feelings about Wakanda Forever, but also it was like the most almost impossible movie to make ever. So I think having Denzel in there would be great and partnering with Ryan Coogler obviously, would be really, really special to see. Og Fortnite is returning for good in December. Wonder what that means for us in terms of returning to the Fortnite island island. We've like dabbled in this season and season two but honestly it just it hasn't really drawn us in. We've also been playing a lot of call of duty zombies, which has been a whole lot of fun, um, but yeah, it's going to be here to stay and they're going to update the, the weapon pool, um, over the course of its lifespan.

Speaker 3:

And then eric this one and philand. This one really is interesting for us because Netflix has been hit with a lawsuit over a quote, unquote, unwatchable Jake Paul versus Mike Tyson fight. I don't really give a shit about the fight. It was terrible. At one point it was actually kind of just sad. But for us, as wrestling fans, monday Night Raw and all of its PLEs are coming to Netflix in 2025. And I'll tell you something If fucking Netflix goes out in the middle of WrestleMania, we will lose our shit. So what do you guys think that means? Do you think, are you nervous about the move to Netflix and how do you feel about that in general? So Netflix streaming, denzel Washington in Black Panther 3, xbox games on PlayStation, fortnite, og. Whoever wants to take that. Actually, eric, I'll throw it to you first Any comments?

Speaker 4:

Yeah. So Denzel for Black Panther. I mean, that's like a shoo-in decision. It kind of needs to happen for the culture just alone. So that's a need, that's a must for sure. That's a need, that's a must for sure, I would say.

Speaker 4:

With Netflix in particular, it was dawned on me that they also are doing NFL stuff and that the Jake Paul Mike Tyson fight might have served as a kind of precursor to what they can expect. So I'm I'm hopeful that there are opportunities that it will get better. But you also probably had an idea of how many people were going to watch that fight and I wasn't really paying attention to it very much, but I wasn't hearing a lot of issues until we got closer to the main event. So again, that's kind of very telling that the actual thing people wanted to see people weren't able to see initially, and it was definitely frustrating as a viewer and then to watch the pathetic fight that it was was like a cherry on top. So those are my thoughts on those two particular stories. Fulin, I'll throw it to you next. What about you? Any of those stories stick out to you?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, talking about the Netflixflix thing, um, I witnessed it. Um, I think it was three seasons ago or two seasons ago they tried to do a love is blind live reunion and that was an absolute shit show. No one was able to watch it. It, um, there was like a couple people that were able to get on, but I I had to watch it on tiktok live, with someone recording their phone using it, because I there was no and people were talking about it, so I couldn't wait until the next day to watch it. It was a complete shit show and they haven't tried it ever again since then because they could not make it work. So to try on a bigger platform, like a wrestling event because I mean, love is Blind is huge, obviously, but it's not going to be as big as a sporting event like WrestleMania. So it's going to be awful Jordan.

Speaker 4:

what about you?

Speaker 1:

For Netflix. I really don't think they should be streaming anything. And Netflix is crazy because they also have games now, by the way. They need to not be adding things. They need to get their shit together first before adding new stuff. But yeah, I tried to watch that Love is Blind live stream and I think I stopped and I think at one point I asked Flynn. I was like, hey, are you still watching? And I was like I'm definitely not. I'm going to wait until it's like completely out so I can watch it. The Jake Paul fight we saw it. Yes, it was sad. I think the best fight was Netflix and the Wi-Fi going on and off.

Speaker 1:

That was a good time, um, going on and off. Uh, that was a good time. But speaking on fortnite, I'm excited about og fortnite. We obviously haven't touched it much. I do think we should get back into it. Um, but that's the thing is. I feel, again, fortnite's been doing so much all over the place. I feel like they've been focusing a lot on like their fortnite festival and like the music parts, because there's so many musicians that have been introduced as skins and there's new songs for festival. I feel like also this most recent season, or the battle pass that's what I meant the battle pass is just not great, it's not exciting, and they haven't been introducing anything exciting besides OG Fortnite. So, yeah, restrategize.

Speaker 3:

Well, we're getting Godzilla and Baymax for next season, so I'm back, baby. We are back in. Eric, what were? Your didn't make the cut stories.

Speaker 4:

All right. So this is kind of the Discord roundup that I'm going to start kind of. I don't know if that's what I'm going to call it, but that's what I'm going to start doing in future. Uh, iterations of this show is just kind of going through in our discord channel and our server. If you haven't joined, definitely do so, uh. But uh, in the pop culture news section, a couple of things that came out were obviously arcane, season two and the fact that there's a reported $250 million budget, which is crazy. Now, that is including marketing and not just the animation, but I think it speaks volumes as far as what the future could hold for different shows with the success of Arkane. We also have Kraven the Hunter and the opening weekend box office allegedly potentially maybe lower than even Morbius Crazy because that movie had so much potential when it was first announced and now probably going to flop.

Speaker 4:

Star Wars has a trilogy deal going on. Lucasfilm is tapping Simon Kinberg to write and produce. He's very, very much involved in the star wars rebels show and other projects within star wars. It seems like they may or may not be going back to the skywalker saga. That's up for debate, but we are getting episodes 10 through 12. A mass effect has a tv series in the works, ph Phil Very curious how you feel about that. Harry Potter has the sequel as one of the biggest priorities according to the Warner Brothers CFO. And finally, christopher Nolan is stacking dominoes for this amazing cast for some type of movie that is coming out. If you haven't heard, charlize Theron is going to be in it, tom Holland, matt Damon, zendaya, anne Hathaway, lupita Nyong'o, robert Pattinson and who knows who else is going to come.

Speaker 3:

So very curious if anybody, it's going to be a Valentine's Day remake, it's going to be a rom-com.

Speaker 4:

It's going to be a rom-com. Obviously, remake it's gonna be a rom-com. It's gonna be a rom-com, obviously. So you've got arcane, season two's budget, craving the hunters, box office, potential star wars coming back mass effect in tv, harry potter, uh, with the hogwarts legacy sequel and christopher nolan's upcoming film phil. I'll throw it to you. Any of those stories um intrigue you at all?

Speaker 3:

yes, mass effect is a tv show thank goodness it's not a movie much, much better platform for that. I will be cautiously optimistic. I'm very excited to hear that a hogwarts legacy sequel is at the top of their list because, remember, they were talking about maybe shifting to like online multiplayer games or like story driven games weren't really their concern. If they can match the story with the gameplay, you're talking about a game of the year contender because we, that game is so much fun when it comes to the gameplay, we just couldn't tell you anything about the story. Um, when it comes to uh, when it comes to uh, when it comes to that, uh, don't really care for whatever is next in Star Wars Will I watch Probably, but like uh, it just seems like they're they're treading water at this point. Um, and then, um, the story about, uh, arcane.

Speaker 3:

Listen, if that's how much money it took to deliver this, um, this animated animation masterpiece. Spend more money. I can't wait to see what they do next in the universe of League of Legends, but there are parts in this show in this final season, where the animation legit makes you emotional. It is that gorgeous. So, yeah, keep spending that money and put it in the right places, I guess Is Jordan okay.

Speaker 4:

So yeah, keep spending that money and put it in the right places, I guess is Jordan is Jordan.

Speaker 3:

Okay. Meanwhile, jordan is actually at IMAX right now watching Interstellar.

Speaker 4:

Jordan. What happened, and do you have any interest at all? Are you able to speak to any of these stories under your current conditions?

Speaker 1:

I was trying to fix the lighting. I guess it got worse.

Speaker 3:

It got sort of worse.

Speaker 1:

My interest is really on the Harry Potter side because I'm excited for the Hogwarts Legacy 2. I agree it will definitely be a Game of the Year contender if they really can stick with the story and really work on that aspect of the game, because the first game if there wasn't any other game that was really good after Hogwarts Legacy, I feel like that would have been a good game as a parent-contender, because that one was really good and we were playing it together. I think we've talked about it multiple times. That was really exciting. Good story all around. The ending's not great the story along the way was, but I think it was definitely something we're still looking forward to.

Speaker 4:

And Flynn. What about you? Anything that you that stood out to you?

Speaker 2:

you um same thing, just the harry potter hogwarts legacy. Um, I will always like have a special place of my heart for that game because that's what opened me up to playing with everybody else. So I think that was really nice and special. I just wish I didn't have to keep giving jk rowling money, but I mean whatever.

Speaker 3:

Film. Eric, you didn't bring up the monkeys that escaped from the zoo. Did they ever find them?

Speaker 2:

Is it like a science lab? I?

Speaker 4:

didn't have an update on that to provide, so I didn't know if I should bring it up. I was about to say it was definitely like a science lab.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, they were like experimenting on them, or something.

Speaker 3:

Oh my God, we've literally seen this play out.

Speaker 4:

Phil's nightmare, jordan. We already know what happened, Jordan? Did you have any? Didn't make the cut stories.

Speaker 1:

No, my other story was the trick, so I'm good.

Speaker 4:

Okay, phyllin, anything for you.

Speaker 2:

I had a couple. Let's just do a rapid fire Talking about monkeys. Okay, Felin, anything for you. I had a couple. Let's just do a rapid fire. Talking about monkeys. Snoop Dogg is making a planet of the apes with dogs.

Speaker 1:

Apparently he wants to. That was weird, so that really concerned me, because you were like speaking of monkeys, snoop Dogg.

Speaker 2:

I was like Felin, please, no, please, no, sorry, not that I had to finish. Finish that sentence. Um, and then going on a different topic, talking about netflix, um, I just saw an interesting story that maybe, phil, you can speak on um, that netflix hasn't had any real contenders with their comedy specials, but it actually has been released that now Disney and Hulu are doing one special every single month, and I guess one of the interesting things I saw on it is that Netflix never gave the demographics to their comedians of how well these comedy specials were doing, so a lot of these comedians weren't very weren't sure how, who was seeing it, what was, what was the progress and like. So it's. Disney has come out saying that they're very open to giving that. Disney has come out saying that they're very open to giving that. So are we going to see a shift from Netflix? Because that's one of the big things on Netflix right now is the comedy special. So are they going to lose that now too?

Speaker 3:

And what is everyone's thoughts on that? Yeah, to speak on that, that is very interesting because what Netflix likes to do is dole out these multiple special offers. So, like you know, um, you know, dave chappelle had a few, um, I think taylor thomason had a couple, so they like to do them in groups. Um, matt rife unfortunately had, like you know, two or three. Ellen's special is up on netflix as well. So if they're going to withhold that information and Disney Hulu is going to take advantage of that, that's great.

Speaker 3:

I mean, obviously, hbo and Max is another really big platform for stand-up comedy as well. So I think, when it comes to those bigger names, you'll definitely see more of a shift. But when it comes to Netflix, does a really good job of spotlighting a lot of comics that people have never heard of. So I think that they'll probably still keep that demographic. But like, yeah, in terms of the bigger names, I wouldn't be surprised if Disney comes in and starts throwing their money, their uh, you know their wallet around and stealing some of those people. I don't think we're ever see Dave Chappelle on Disney plus, uh, but maybe some of the other names could easily make the transition over Hulu and Disney Plus for sure, but did we have any others? Was that, eric? Did you have anything to add on?

Speaker 4:

to those stories that Phyllin had. No, no, I was also sending you something that I wasn't sure if that's going to impact us here in a minute.

Speaker 3:

No, it was because I was looking at something and I like lingered too long, so like it popped up up, but no, it is still here. So well, that is everything, guys. If you didn't watch last month's episode of what did I miss, you saw Eric and I do a very kind of like a soft launch of this. You saw, if you did attend Nakamakon here in Jacksonville, you did see Eric and I do this as far as a an anime draft battle, where everything was left up to the fate of the wheel. So we bring in our normal wheel, the wheel that we know and love, here in just a moment in terms of, uh, who will, uh, where we will slot all these characters. So, if you've never seen this before, literally have stolen this straight from tiktok. Uh, typically they go like, um, which team would win in a fight? So that's kind of like what we will do here, and we will be drafting seven different positions. So there is a captain, vice captain, tank healer and then three support characters that we'll be doing. We have a wheel with 64 non-Disney animated characters. So these are characters from other properties that we'll be doing here today, and I have already spun a wheel elsewhere, eric, to decide who will be going first and guess what you won, so you will be going first picking your character. I will be updating this on my other screen as we go so that way we can see an updated list. We don't have to do spin that wheel every single time. Shout out to the Nakama crowd that actually kept it going for a good while. I was pretty proud of everybody when we were doing that.

Speaker 3:

But, eric, are you ready? We'll be drafting seven characters here. Also, you guys get one skip, so you get one skip for this whole game. So if you use it too early, that's it. You get the characters that you get. Is everybody ready? Anybody have any questions about the game? Good to go. Alright, eric, let's see who your first character is for the draft battle there are some interesting characters on here. Almost got Big Jack Warner. Your first pick is Daffy Duck. Battle there are some interesting characters on here. Oh, almost got big jack warner. Well, your first pick is daffy duck yeah, just just put.

Speaker 4:

Uh put daffy in support.

Speaker 3:

I guess I don't really know what else to do here we'll put daffy duck here as a support character, all right, and we'll update it after every round, so I'll show you guys what everything looks like. I got second, so let's see who we got here. Oh no, all right, I got Coraline. Does Coraline have powers?

Speaker 4:

No, she's just a girl, it's not a guy-girl thing.

Speaker 3:

She's a very disturbed girl too, isn't she?

Speaker 4:

She's pretty smart, she's resourceful, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Oh, not Caroline, Coraline. I was like this isn't Coraline, okay, well, I'm going to have to put her in support. I can't justify putting her anywhere else. So let's put Coraline in support, all right. Next up on the wheel was Jordan. So, jordan, I forgot to move Coraline. So if she comes up again, we will remove that. But here we go, jordan, here's your spin. Move Coraline. So if she comes up again, we will remove that. But here we go, jordan, here's your spin. Remember you have Captain, vice Captain Tank Healer and then three support characters. You got, oh okay, lord Shen from Kung Fu Panda 2. Lord Shen, um, that is the peacock. That's the peacock with like knives for feathers.

Speaker 1:

Oh. It's a pretty good character, I was going to say what's a tank again, that's like the heavy.

Speaker 3:

Tank is your heavy, he's your heavy character.

Speaker 1:

What about vice captain?

Speaker 3:

Vice captain for Lord Shen. Okay, hold on a second. Let me find a good picture. Here's a good one. All right, we got vice captain, so jordan's vice captain is taken. All right, flynn, here we go for you. Oh my god. Okay, you got big jack horner from puss in boots the last wish, boots the Last.

Speaker 2:

Wish. I mean obviously that has to be by Tank.

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah, does he come with his bag of his magic bag? Does he come with a noble phoenix Alright Flynn's Tank? Such a good movie. We should probably watch that after this. Huh, is Big Jack Horner All right, looking good there? Okay, so through round one. Eric has Daffy Duck as a support character, I have Coraline as a support character, I have Coraline as my support character, felin has Big Jack Horner as a tank and Jordan got Lord Shen as her vice captain. Give a little, oops, that's not my one here. And all right, should we do Snake or back to the Top of the Draft? What do you guys want to do? Back to the Top, back to the Top? Okay, once again. Eric Daffy Duck, me, coraline Phyllin, big Jack Horner and Jordan has Lord Shen. All right, we'll go back to the top. So, eric, here comes your pick Next selection.

Speaker 4:

You have Blue from Rio Squad. What the fuck man Support?

Speaker 3:

He can fly all right, we have blue. Oh man, rio has come up quite a bit recently, which is strange. All right, we'll put blue here. Another support you got two birds, eric, just so you know I really hope it's gonna all come together soon boy, that is.

Speaker 3:

Uh, that is a concerning lineup. I'm looking at eric's screen right now. All right, let's go to mine. My second pick. Let's see if we can improve on coralline. That would be fantastic. God damn it. I came so close to getting shrek. All right, hiccup, second pick. Let's see if we can improve on Coraline. That would be fantastic. God damn it. I came so close to getting Shrek Alright, hiccup From how to Train your Dragon. This is interesting. I mean, adult Hiccup is a good leader. Yeah, do I use my president? I mean my captain. Right now, though, do I get to choose which Hiccup? He doesn't come with Toothless.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm assuming he doesn't come with Toothless.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I was about to say Well, he was like a good, like what's it called? Like a good engineer, right, Because he can. He, you know, crafted Hiccup's tail. He can build and stuff yeah, I'm going to go support. I don't think I'm going to make him captain. Let's go with bearded Hiccup, though for sure We'll do that here. Support character All right we have, let's get back to Jordan. Jordan, here comes your next pick. All right, we have, let's get back to Jordan. Jordan, here comes your next pick. All right, jordan Patrick Star from SpongeBob.

Speaker 1:

Good God, it was like between SpongeBob and Patrick. Support. I don't know how he can support me, but it's a support.

Speaker 3:

All right, we got Patrick Starr as a support character. Okay, flynn, let's get to your next one here. And Flynn got Jack Frost from Rise of Guardians.

Speaker 2:

Wasn't he like the leader of Rise of Guardians right?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, the white haired kid. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Let's make him vice and hope that we get something better.

Speaker 3:

Vice captain. Yeah, okay, all right, in the interest of time, we'll continue here. We're back up to the top of Eric with Eric here. Let's see if he gets another bird. All right, do you have any big birds? Oh my God, okay, okay. Well, that's not much better. You got Louise Belcher from Bob's Burger.

Speaker 1:

Solid.

Speaker 4:

What the fuck am I supposed to do with any of this? I'm gonna put her at healer because I feel like I feel like I don't know any other better options that are gonna possibly come up on here. So, yeah, I'm going to put her at healer because I feel like I don't know any other better options that are going to possibly come up on here. So, yeah, I'm going to say healer.

Speaker 3:

All right, we got Luis as Eric's healer. All right, here we go Back to me. Let's see, here I got Johnny. Nope, oh, come on. Okay, johnny Bravo.

Speaker 1:

Johnny Bravo, from Johnny Bravo.

Speaker 3:

Thanks, jatchypt. Johnny Bravo, I mean, he gets his ass routinely beat in the show, so he can't be my tank. I'm gonna go support, but that's gonna be tank. I'm gonna go support, but that's gonna be. Oh god. That's my third support character, though. Oh that's. I can't make him anything else on here. I might use my skip. It's really early, but like I don't want all three of my roster spots. I fucking forgot we had.

Speaker 1:

I forgot there was a skip, god damn it, I'm gonna use my skip.

Speaker 3:

I can't put Johnny Bravo on my team. I gotta. I can't do Johnny Bravo. Alright, here we go, I use my skip. So what I get from here on is what I get, damn it Okay. Rattlesnake Jake from Rango. I mean Jango, rango, not Jango.

Speaker 1:

I was like what, Although I think that's a good support character.

Speaker 3:

I was about to say it's way better than Johnny Bravo, so we'll go with him as another support character. That is all of my support characters, so the rest of my people are going to hold pretty important roles within my organization. Jordan, let's get to your next spin here. Oh my God, okay, all right. Oh that Okay, all right. Oh, that was close, all right, you got Dexter from Dexter's Laboratory.

Speaker 4:

Laboratory.

Speaker 1:

Laboratory.

Speaker 3:

Sorry, you're right. Laboratory.

Speaker 1:

I'm on support.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's a really good support character. All right, flynn, back to you. Who is this? Oh oh Taki from your name.

Speaker 2:

I guess I have supports right.

Speaker 3:

You do have all three support characters. Okay, he's just a teenager.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I know you can also skip, which I would have loved to do with any of my last three.

Speaker 3:

You want to use your skip? Now you got three support characters so you could use a throwaway on Taki, but again, he's probably not going to offer much, not a lot of combat in your name, if I remember correctly.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, let me use my skip, that's fine.

Speaker 3:

Use that skip.

Speaker 1:

Skipping's got to be cheating.

Speaker 3:

You get one skip. You only get one. All right, okay, that actually worked out. You got Manny from Ice Age.

Speaker 2:

Oh, Okay, that's a swap, right. Nope, you got Manny from Ice Age.

Speaker 3:

Oh, okay, that's the sloth right, nope, that is the mammoth, manny the mammoth.

Speaker 1:

Sid the sloth and Manny the mammoth.

Speaker 2:

I owe this support for Manny. And Diego the yeah because you already have a tiger. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Trying to find a good shot of Manny here the sloth, manny the sloth. To be fair, there's only one hair dryer. Alright, back to the top with Eric. Let's see if your luck turns around.

Speaker 4:

Apparently, we have Louise Louise Dutcher.

Speaker 3:

Daffy Duck and Blue.

Speaker 4:

What the hell, oh God.

Speaker 3:

It's over Derek. I mean, he is like a gelatinous blob.

Speaker 4:

He does help, I'll put him in support. This is fucking Not happy about it.

Speaker 1:

We have four supports right.

Speaker 4:

Three.

Speaker 1:

Three okay.

Speaker 4:

You're gonna be. I've just used up all my. You wanna recap my support slots real quick.

Speaker 3:

Yep, you got Daffy Duck Blue from Rio and Bob from Monstrous Versalience.

Speaker 4:

I got a really fucking nail.

Speaker 3:

Captain.

Speaker 4:

Vice Captain and Tank to have even a shot.

Speaker 3:

All right, back to me. Okay, let's go, come on, stop, all right. Okay, let's go, come on, stop all right. Drago bloodfist from how to train your dragon two, who could they? Uh? Who could they cast as him in a live action? Uh, how to train your dragon. I'm gonna put him at. Damn. I'm tempted to put him at vice captain. I I'm tempted to put him at Vice Captain. I do feel like there's a better tank out there. And Drago didn't do. Did he do a lot of fighting himself, or was he just mostly controlling dragons? I don't remember. I know he's very physical. I'm going to put him at Vice Captain. I'll put him at Vice Captain Because I want to leave tank open so do you have hiccup and draco.

Speaker 3:

Oh, I do have hiccup and draco. They're going to get along fine. Alright, jordan. Back to you. Jordan gets Doug funny from. Doug Doug funny is just a teenager boy.

Speaker 1:

another teenager, I skip, I'm Doug. Doug's funny, he's just a teenager boy.

Speaker 3:

He's another teenager I skip. Yep, alright, sorry Doug, no place for you in this battle. Yeah, he's too much of a pacifist. Oh yeah, he does not. Oh, oh, okay, you got Miguel and Tulio from the Road to El Dorado.

Speaker 1:

That's two that I can put in one spot.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, they put them together.

Speaker 1:

Support.

Speaker 3:

Support Okay, that's your last support character.

Speaker 1:

More of my other supports.

Speaker 3:

You have Dexter from Dexter's Laboratory and Patrick.

Speaker 1:

If I knew I had to skip, I would have skipped Patrick, but I feel like Patrick's better than Doug.

Speaker 3:

Well he's there. Yeah, no, he would definitely be better than Doug. All right, phyllin. Back to you. You have two support spots and your vice cap, I mean your captain and healer. I was really hoping this would pop. Son of a bitch. Yeah, sean, from Sean and the Sheep.

Speaker 2:

You said I have two support. Right, Okay, I'll just do the support.

Speaker 1:

Sean, the Sheep is cute.

Speaker 3:

Sure, yeah, he's great. Oh God, eli from Super Racket Bros would be over the moon about this selection. Eric alright, back to you, let's see.

Speaker 4:

I got a hit and I only got one skip uh, oh, okay alright, yeah, vice, vice captain, okay alright. Okay, that's better than what you're about to get, yeah, vice captain.

Speaker 3:

Okay, all right, we will do Invader Zim as Eric's vice captain. Cool, All right, back to me. I have captain tank and healer left. Healer is always so hard to lock down. All right, got my captain. There, you go Moses from the Prince of Egypt.

Speaker 1:

Healer is so hard because, like none of these people or these characters have any like healing properties.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Steven Universe.

Speaker 3:

Healer is always the hardest one. Oh yeah, steven Universe is on here, alright, and we have back to Jordan. You have Captain Tank and Healer. Jordan is going to get Rango, the second Rango character, the main Rango character, the Rango, not Jango. I keep searching Jango.

Speaker 1:

Stop looking at Jango. I'm trying to remember what Rango has done, you know.

Speaker 3:

He's a sharpshooter, right.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'll make him captain.

Speaker 3:

Okay, did you use your? Yeah, you used your skip already.

Speaker 1:

Uh-huh, I did.

Speaker 4:

I think I'm the only one who has the skip left.

Speaker 3:

I've never seen Rango.

Speaker 2:

People swear by it. I've seen bits andingo People swear by it. I've seen like bits and pieces.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, all right, back to Felin.

Speaker 2:

Come on, steven Universe.

Speaker 3:

You have a Captain Healer in support. Felin gets Timmy Turner Now again. I think this is just oh God dang it.

Speaker 2:

I was like does he cum? Okay, this is what. I get about talking about fairly odd parents earlier.

Speaker 3:

That's true, yep, we came back around.

Speaker 2:

What did you say I have?

Speaker 3:

You have Captain Healer and Support.

Speaker 2:

Use my last Support and hope for the best.

Speaker 1:

Him without his fairly odd godparents too, it's just him yeah, just a kid.

Speaker 3:

All right back to the top with Eric. He did just pull Zim. Let's see if that continues to trend positively for him. Emmett from the Lego movie laughing, laughing, laughing, laughing that was good movie. That's good. Which is just Chris Pratt?

Speaker 4:

Skip, skip, because the only place to put him is Captain. I don't want to do that.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, you can't put him a tank, obviously he's a Lego.

Speaker 4:

He's a master builder, though, that's true, that is true.

Speaker 2:

You should go back to the Lego.

Speaker 4:

You should have put Evan as your captain.

Speaker 1:

Oh.

Speaker 3:

God.

Speaker 4:

I don't want to fucking play this dude, put him in captain and just be over with it. Dude, I don't want to fucking play this dude. Put a big cap in and just be over with it, dude, holy shit. Fucking porky pig. My fucking gut said just deal with it. And I was still like no, we're almost at the end, I need to use my skin.

Speaker 1:

Eric has a whole farm. He really does, or is it a part of the pig?

Speaker 3:

I don't even know which one of these pictures to use.

Speaker 4:

I have two loony dune characters and I argue that's two too many.

Speaker 1:

I forgot you had two, I don't know.

Speaker 3:

God, alright, let's, I'm next. Oh damn it. Alright, eric. Well, we're even now, shit.

Speaker 1:

There's a lot of Looney Tunes in here.

Speaker 3:

That was like the worst case scenario. What?

Speaker 4:

spots. Do you have left Tank and healer? You know what you gotta do here.

Speaker 3:

Yep, alright. Well, tweety will be my healer. Somehow I mean Tweety can get into like really small spaces. I don't know. Trying to talk myself into this is not working very well you're trying to like really justify why you yeah, and I have a pretty solid team. If I can hit on tank, I feel pretty good. All right, back to jordan. You got two spots left, you got tank and healer. God damn it. Jordan gets bubbles from the Powerpuff Girls.

Speaker 1:

Healer, absolutely.

Speaker 3:

Bubbles, powerpuff Girls. You don't want her as your tank.

Speaker 1:

Well, yeah, Actually we can do tank. She's very strong for her size Tank Okay.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, remember that episode where Bubbles went. Bubbles lost her shit and destroyed everybody. Alright, felin, you have Healer and Captain. Okay, fucking shit, felin gets another duo, ren and Stimpy.

Speaker 1:

What is Ren and Stimpy. They is like what's the what is Ren and Stimpy?

Speaker 3:

They're animals too. Right, yeah, they're. Uh, stimpy Ren is a chihuahua. I don't know what the fuck Stimpy is Um Captain or healer?

Speaker 2:

I have two braids better than one. Isn't one of them like a science? Like doesn't one of them just science or something You're thinking?

Speaker 4:

of the brain?

Speaker 1:

No Very different, she thought that she was like they're very smart.

Speaker 2:

Which one's Ren and Stimpy, stimpy's a cat.

Speaker 3:

Ren and Stimpy is the chihuahua and the red dog and Stimpy is the Chihuahua and the red dog and Stimpy is like the red creepy dog.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, they're like really gross, they're really gross.

Speaker 1:

Just look him up, he's stupid.

Speaker 2:

This is Ren and Stimpy oh god, okay, basically I'm thinking in the brain. I guess, healer, I can't do Captain there, okay.

Speaker 3:

Alright, eric, one spot left for your tank.

Speaker 4:

I could have put Emmett at tank, dude, I just.

Speaker 3:

Here we go. The wheel has not been kind to Eric tonight, no.

Speaker 4:

Just fucking do what you have to do, dude. Just do what you have to do.

Speaker 1:

Or it's not like take qualities.

Speaker 4:

I mean it's probably the best pull I've had, and I can't even enjoy it.

Speaker 2:

It's not a good pull. Eric just has a zoo. Oh, if we were drafting the best zoo.

Speaker 3:

If you were drafting a zoo, eric would definitely win if we could just change the confines of the game right now. That'd be great. This is gonna be my tank, so we'll see how this goes. Son of a bitch. To be fair, do you remember?

Speaker 1:

the episode where Spongebob was Son of a bitch. To be fair, do you remember the episode where SpongeBob was constantly getting punched? That's true, he can keep taking punches. And he was like just hit me.

Speaker 3:

Alright, which one of these SpongeBob memes am I going to make? The picture, here we go. That's definitely the one, alright, jordan. The picture, here we go. That's definitely the one, alright, jordan, jordan, this is your last selection and you have a healer, so see if you get Steven Universe. I think that's the only healer on here. I was just gonna say Wow, this would have been a great pull earlier in the game. He got the wolf slash death from Puss in Boots.

Speaker 1:

That's going to be my healer.

Speaker 3:

Wolf slash death. Puss in Boots, eric's favorite character.

Speaker 1:

Puss, captain, though have you seen.

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah, absolutely All right. Flynn Flynn, here is your captain.

Speaker 4:

Are you ready?

Speaker 3:

Here we go, flynn's Captain Wile E Coyote, this game.

Speaker 1:

Everyone got a loony.

Speaker 3:

Boy.

Speaker 4:

You want to trade?

Speaker 1:

No, that's really the concept of the games which one are you going to trade?

Speaker 3:

yeah, which one eric.

Speaker 4:

So many, any of them literally all right, eric's roster.

Speaker 3:

Eric's roster, as his captain is Porky Pig, vice Captain Zim Tank, horton, healer, luis, and then supports Daffy Duck, blue and Bob.

Speaker 1:

That picture, that picture of Bob.

Speaker 2:

And the picture of Luis is Cindy.

Speaker 3:

she's like coming all right, I gotta say vice captain and tank are my strongest there.

Speaker 4:

That's it, my team I've got man.

Speaker 3:

I really should have put drago at tank. Huh, uh, captain, is Moses Drago? Blood vist at vice captain. Spongebob tank. Tweety at healer, not great. Coraline hiccup and the rattlesnake from Ringo, whose name I already forgot. It's not important. All right, that is my team. Uh, full in Wiley coyote. Um, jack Frost, jack Horner, ren and Stimpy is your healer. Manny, I forgot you had Sean and the Timmy Turner this one's also pretty rough. And then Jordan Rango. I forgot the name of the. What's the name of the peacock again? Tau Lord.

Speaker 2:

Shen, lord Shen.

Speaker 3:

Lord Shen, bubbles as your tank, death as your healer, dexter, spongebob and Miguel and Julio. Yeah, that's Patrick. Yeah, I have Spongebob. I unfortunately have Spongebob. That's right. Yeah, yeah, I'm gonna be honest. I think jordan has the best team outside of like ringo, I don't think is the best captain it's like not even he is a leader yeah, he is a leader um, I was doing well. Until my tank. I feel like I was doing pretty good. Coraline obviously not great, but everything else trending in the right direction.

Speaker 2:

This is a good thing.

Speaker 3:

The Drago not in tank really screwed me because I would have been okay with SpongeBob as a vice captain. Honestly, I would have been okay with that. But yeah, are we in agreement? I think it's probably Jordan.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I think we got a clear winner and a clear loser one more time, guys, let's go over here, god get up invader zim wharton.

Speaker 3:

Louise belcher, daffy, duck blue and bob from monsters there's just like no salvageable, like piece here, like honestly.

Speaker 1:

Horton's face is crazy, bob's is crazy too.

Speaker 2:

How would you switch it, Eric?

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah, if you could redo it, what would you do?

Speaker 4:

With these characters. Yeah, yep. Honestly, I could have changed every single one and it would somehow be better. It just it doesn't.

Speaker 3:

It just doesn't matter, it doesn't matter I would have put.

Speaker 4:

Zim at captain, at this point, that's really the only change you can make.

Speaker 2:

I think Zim and Luis would work together well.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, where the fuck do I put Porky Pig?

Speaker 1:

That's Captain.

Speaker 3:

I don't know. I guess that would have been a good Captain. Yeah, phelan, your team has some pretty solid selections, but Ren and Stimpy and Timmy Turner really make this thing, fall apart.

Speaker 2:

And the sheep.

Speaker 3:

Wile.

Speaker 4:

E Coyote Wile E.

Speaker 3:

Coyote Captain Is only known for failing, so you definitely should have used your skip. Wile E Coyote is only known for failing, so you definitely should have used your skip on Wile E Coyote.

Speaker 1:

What did I use it on that? Was her last one too.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, you used it on.

Speaker 1:

Taki oh.

Speaker 3:

Taki, yeah, which arguably would be better than Wile E Coyote. So yeah, jordan is the clear winner here. Ringo, lord Shen Bubbles Death. Miguel Tulio Patrick Dexter's Laboratory congratulations Jordan, there we go, guys. We did it November. What did I miss? What a as these usually go. What a ride.
