What Did I Miss? (August 2026)

It’s time for another edition of What Did I Miss?, our monthly recurring series where we catch up on the biggest pop culture stories from the past few weeks that may have slipped under the radar. This month, we’re joined by returning guests Roo Ryder and Ivan Gafiltha as we tackle everything from the future of physical media and some massive D23 announcements to controversies surrounding AI and the entertainment industry. We’ll also take a moment to remember several beloved figures we lost this month before diving into our Discord roundup and wrapping things up with our usual game of pop culture Kahoot!
